This is a nice book to have for a bit of inspiration but it doesn't really tell you much more than really basic info and doesn't have that many pictures and the pictures it has are all similar to the front cover, pretty but not really showing that many different styles in detail they're more there just to look nice.
I got it for 1p used and new and wasn't expecting much and I'm sure it'll give me a little inspiration for colours and pretty ideas but otherwise it's not really particularly useful.
It's the sort of thing that might just be nice to have if you love lingerie and want some pretty pictures and some short history or to give as part of a present or something. I'd have been really happy with this as part of a gift actually, it's sweet. If you're looking for more information in different style or pictures to inspire you though or are interested in lingerie design you'd be better getting something more expensive with more detail.
If you get it for 1p plus postage though why not?

I love beautiful underwear and could probably look at this book all day, very simple,quite short but with some lovely snippets of info and really really gorgeous photography.

This is a very simple and small reference book and does not contain any patterns for making your own lingerie. If you want patterns,as I did, do not buy this book...

A pretty inspirational book
This book is great to look at and i purchased it along with a pattern cutting book which i also have recommended.
