About the Author

Frances Partridge was born in Bedford Square, Bloomsbury, in 1900, one of six children of an architect. She was educated at Newnham College, Cambridge, where she read English and Moral Sciences. In 1933 she married Ralph Partridge. In addition to translating many books from French and Spanish and helping her husband to edit THE GREVILLE MEMOIRS, she is the author of MEMORIES and five other published volumes of diaries, EVERYTHING TO LOSE, HANGING ON, OTHER PEOPLE, GOOD COMPANY and LIFE REGAINED. --This text refers to an out of print or unavailable edition of this title.
