It's a bit far-fetched yet still carries you along nicely. The fact that the story was inspired by the film "You've Got Mail" should have put me off, but instead I did feel a certain amount of curiosity for how it would all pan out. The characterisation is okay, and overall I did enjoy it.
I dropped one star because it's not brilliant, and another because the story ends when you're only 80% of your way through the book. I was reading through my Kindle app. and like being able to tell how long you've got for the story to unfold. But the end, including the epilogue, was reached at 80% and the rest of the book is made up of deleted scenes and additional ending, which is just a bit strange. Add the scenes into the book and let it finish at 100%! Silly.
