5.0 out of 5 stars My new favourite author. 10 May 2012
Format:Kindle Edition|Amazon Verified Purchase
Great characters, tension, dilemma...and a lamb called "Dinner" - who could ask for more?
The first page starts with the hero, Bram, dispersing a flock of sheep who are blocking the road - by setting off dynamite...and the pace picks up from there. Bram gets caught in the explosion but luckily finds something soft to land on - Susannah!
This book is everything that historical romance is meant to be; humourous, sensuous, entertaining and enthralling.
I loved when the pristine tea shop is taken over by the men and turned into an tavern - The Rutting Bull, and then later when the conflict is resolved and a compromise is reached and it is renamed "The Bull and Blossom."
I have already downloaded the next book and am eager to start reading.

5.0 out of 5 stars Cannot wait to read the next in the series! 11 April 2012
Format:Kindle Edition|Amazon Verified Purchase
Absolutely one of the best historical romances I have read in a very long time! Every character had relatable and lovable qualities, especialy the male and female protagonists, and each conversation written was realistic as well as highly amusing! Would suggest this novel to anyone in need of a book they cannot put down.

5.0 out of 5 stars Tessa dare is a brilliant find 26 Mar 2013

This is the first book in the spindle cove series, but for some reason I read book two first and I'm kind of glad I did. I thoroughly enjoyed a week to be wicked and wondered if miss dare could pull of another book with bram and susanna, which of course she did. I didn't have as many laugh out loud moments as I did with book two, but it was still a really good book.

I'm going to try another book of miss dares in her other series and if this proves to be good too, miss dare will probably become an auto buy for me. She brings characters alive and you really feel that the h and h really fall in love.

Great great read. Loved it.
