a slight change of direction from True Colours as Cyndi delivers a more rockesque feel to the tracks on offer here.
its not the best of her albums but its still a lot better than any other album thats out there.
it only fails due to some tracks acting as filler rather then acting as a superior track like her other albums.
it isnt my favourite album but i highly recommend it to every fan or newbies.
its a shame that this album and her following albums lacked promotion from SONY.
HAT FULL OF STARS continues with the mature rock themes only slightly more successful and darker in tone compared to this album.
however A NIGHT TO REMEMBER i still a great album and is a forgotten gem of hers, while its still a footnote to her previous albums(...Unusual/True Colors)and is over shadowed by her later efforts(HAT.../SISTERS/BRING YA TO THE BRINK)but it is a great album with some stand out tracks.
Intro-2/5
I Drove All Night-5/5
Primitive-5/5
My First Night Without You-4/5
Like A Cat-5/5
Heading West-4/5
A Night To Remember-3/5
Unconditional Love-3/5
Insecurious-5/5

Kindered Spirit-1/5-pointless track for the album and exactly the same as the intro.
all in all decent, not her best, but not her worst(as if there is any)i recommend buying this with a few others to get the full satisfaction of the complexity of A NIGHT TO REMEMBER.
3.5/5 from me...very good
