Format:Audio CD
I don't know why this album isn't better known. It's a fine collection of great songs, played with grace, style and no little passion. Perhaps it's because the musicians aren't "names" or "celebs". Perhaps it's because a number of these songs are already well-known (they're all covers). Perhaps the record company didn't get behind the album. Either way, it's a shame, because too many blues records sound poorly recorded or feature indulgent playing. After 15 years of regular listening, however, this one is a keeper. Do yourself a favour and buy it today.
