This would make a good gift book for a musician. It is a tactile book. Nice cover, red endpapers and a size that fits snuggly into your hand.
The content is pretty good too. My favourite entry was Job(not a proper)where she explains how despite being an accomplished classical musician noone seems to take her work very seriously. In Y for youngsters she talks about musicians who have worked hard since childhood experiencing some sort of burnout.
I suppose I didn't give the book five because sometimes I would like a little more variety, the entries do tend to blend into one another. Also it can read too much like a newspaper column.
