Format:Paperback
This is a good book for use in the Astrophysics or Cosmology option as part of the A2 Physics course. However, it is heavy going, and the entire book is printed in black and white - even the diagrams of stellar spectra! For students and teachers alike, therefore, it is not the most inspiring of books.Content is certainly suitable for the A2 courses, although tailored books by individual exam boards are likely to be more user friendly. Consider getting Muncaster as a supplementary text, as its handling of the more curious aspects of the course - Special Relativity for one - is very clearly explained indeed.
