This is quite a short film, and I first saw it at the National Autistic Society's course for the parents of autistic children. It is entirely illustrated and narrated by people with autism. The big thing that sticks in my memory is the need for perpetual motion, trains in and out of tunnels, which made me see that many people with autism might need this kind of visual stimulation to bring their other senses into play. I have not played it to my autistic son yet, but I am thinking of doing so, to see what his reaction would be. It is a glimpse into a world often closed to us, without judgment or the creation of fear. It is beautiful in its artwork. I really liked it, so I bought it.
