A Heart of Compassion is a compelling call to social action that comes through heart warming, down to earth stories that reveal the passion God has for each individual. In sharing significant moments on his journey with God, the author communicates the immense value that God places on each human life and reveals the difference even one person can make by giving what they have. I thoroughly enjoyed this book and read it in a couple of days. What struck me most was how much of God's grace is revealed in situations where people have made extremely difficult decisions. This book communicates the value of life whilst never being judgemental about issues such as abortion, infidelity, drug addiction, prostitution etc. I highly recommend this book.

A truly excellent book. Very sensitive, full of genuine honesty and reflecting great compassion for those who are hurting and lost, including those facing a crisis pregnancy or trauma after an abortion. Full of grace and truth, and with deep insight - very moving at times. Helps to understand the depths of God's love for each individual - whatever their experiences or circumstances. I highly recommend this book.

This book wil not just move you, it should change you. It brings a thoughtful and provocative insight into the motives behind our actions and attitudes. It is soaked in grace but doesn't hold back on truth, the truth of God's deep concern for each person; created in his image and loved. It is a story of hope and transformation which inspires you to ask "what about me?"
