By J. Roe
Format:Hardcover
This book is relatively easy to follow but if not using maps as well you must expcet to get lost and have to back track occasionally, it is a circular route around London, never entering the capital, broken into stages of between 9 and 13 miles, all starting and finishing at railway stations.

The reason why it can be difficult to follow is because it was written in 1978 with revisions for the M25 in 1981, gates have dissappeared, buildings demolished etc. However if you have a sense of adventure it all adds to the interest.

Travel to the walks from London is not over expensive despite usually starting and finishing on different railway lines, an all zones travelcard plus a short add on to each end covers it.
