I LOVE TRAVEL, PEOPLE, THE WILD, NATURE AND WANDERING FREE.
I was born on a farm in Berkshire, England, in 1971...but since this is not a dating profile, I shall go on with some words about my passion for books and creating them.
I started my first book in 2000, when I took a gap year, which ten years later had turned into a gap life.
In 2005, I produced my first book, a limited edition hardback called 'The Nomad Tales', which I am pleased to say is now sold out. It was so popular that I have written a new updated version, called 'I Travel Light - The Man Who Walked out of the World', which also includes another 5 years of travel.
My second book was based on the experiences I had whilst volunteering on organic farms around the world with W.W.O.O.F, 'World Wide Opportunities/Willing Workers on Organic Farms', and is an 'A-Z' guide on how to do it, in up to 100 countries. 'The Practical Guide to Wwoofing' was praised by Wwoof's founder - Sue Coppard, when first published in 2009.
I then unleashed a torrent of word-block, an energy which had built up through out my life. Expressing a famine to write, over the next few years I wrote full-time, producing more than a dozen pocket books, written mostly as 'novelettes', about my often wild and off the wall travel. Collectively this series: 'The Adventures of a Greenman' forms my novel style epic:
'I Travel Light - The Man Who Walked out of the World', talked much about by BBC Radio, where I have been interviewed twice.

*Why are many of my books written in the style of a novel, if my tomes are factual?
Well, a lot of my adventures seem almost too good to be true!
I decided to write them in third person, giving my character the name 'Adam'.
(This led to the 'A' in 'A. Greenman', which is of course a pseudonym and a bit of fun!)
In the summer of 2011, I discovered that I am Dyslexic and that this was the probable root of my 'word-block'. It may also be another reason for writing a novel instead of a travelogue, I found this more approachable.
...Quoting BBC Radio Berkshire , interviewing me in 2012:
"You are the person inside all of us that we wish we could let out from time to time, possibly the most spontaneous traveller I have ever met!" Sarah Walker.
Thank you for reading...go well on your own journey.
