When Briony's parents are killed and her brother sent to prison in Australia, she is put under the wing of the generous Chad Cameron who falls in love with her. Their relationship is one sided but a terrible accident opens the mind of Briony and she realises what she has missed.

I really enjoyed reading this book though I find that it is not as outstanding as The Juniper Bush which has a more complex soryline however it is definately worth your time to read it.

A perfect lover 28 Mar 2006
By shivi
Format:Paperback
"A Flower in Season" is one of the best works of AUdrey Howard. This is a story about a poor girl who has lost her family in a split of a second. She couldn't do anything in front of the circumstances that life has thrown over her. In her bad time a kind and rich man comes to her rescue and provides her with everything that she needed in that adverse environment, including his true love but she never appreciate that. She wants to live life on her own but a little trickery on his part made her realise that she needs him to live. She admits defeat and marries him but never return his love and when she learns about the man's trickery she almost starts to hate him until her husband met a tragedy and then she realises how lucky she is to have him.
Its a book worth reading.
