A Few Bad Men is a very interesting Episode from the episodes broadcast in 1998. Jardine and Reid are called in to investigate the murder of a soldier at a barracks in Glasgow. After four years without a DCI, Maryhill`s CID have a new Guvnor in charge to replace Jim Taggart, none other than Michael Jardine. A new DI has also been appointed, DI Robbie Ross, taking over from Jardine`s former role. The newly promoted Jardine finds it very difficult to work with the army in a joint investigation but Reid seems to have an ally in one of the Major`s she has taken a shine to. A link with a seperate case emerges but as the officers dig deeper and get closer to the truth the body count begins to rise rapidly. But as the case draws to a conclusion Jardine and Reid have to act quikly or it could be them in deep danger as well as the murder victims. Robbie Ross makes an immediate impression at Maryhill, casuing a bit of trouble on his first day. Great episode, worth purchasing.
