Praise for ‘Death at Dawn’

‘Great period detail and heaps of energy… feisty’ Daily Mirror

‘Echoes of Georgette Heyer… well-crafted… an enjoyable romp’ She

'Light, easy reading for anyone who enjoys a bit of Victorian mystery' Observer

'An enjoyable historical novel' Woman's Day

Different title, same book! 15 Jan 2011

Be aware that this is the SAME BOOK as "A Family Affair" by the same author. This is apparently a matter of a decision by the American publisher to assign a different title.

A Corpse in Shining Armour 13 Oct 2009
By Steve Dixon - Published on Amazon.com
Format:Paperback|Amazon Verified Purchase
A very good book, I enjoyed it. It's a story about a young lady living in England in the late part of the 19th century. She is a part time music teacher, full time private investigator, although she (Liberty Lane) would allure you to believing that was the other way around. It is full of mystery, murder, and adventure. The author does a very good job blending the history of England with his story.
