Product Description
This teen romantic comedy is a modern-day re-telling of the classic fairy tale. Hilary Duff stars as Sam Martin, a sweet but awkward high-school girl who has been suffering since the death of her father: the diner he owned now belongs to his thoroughly wicked widow, Fiona (Jennifer Coolidge), a former waitress who now makes Sam do all the hard work, mopping floors and washing dishes. School is no picnic for Sam, either: the most popular girl, the rich, pretty and bitchy Shelby (Julie Gonzalo) makes her life a misery. Things take a turn for the better when Sam loses her mobile phone and it is found by a mystery guy. The pair embark on a romance conducted entirely by text message and email. But who is the guy - and what will happen when Sam finally gets to meet him in person at the Hallowe'en school dance?

very humourous film that kept us highly entertained.
The film runs fluently and is has different emotions running through it-some sad, some very funny!
I would recommend this film to anyone-you will not be disappointed...

This film is perfect for a girly night in.It is a modern Ciderella story about a girl who bossed around and made do all the work around the family house and home.This romantic comedy is sad in places and hilairous in others.
I would reccommend this to every girl/women who want a really good chick flick to watch.

I am a true girl at heart and this is the sort of film that I love but hate to admit it lol. It's your typical chick flick sort of film and is worth watching if your feeling in a romantic feel good sort of mood.
It's a modern version of cinderella. Instead of a glass slipper it's a Mobile/cell phone and instead of a prince it's the most popular guy in the school.
It's not everyone's cup of tea but it's a really good chick flick :)

Enjoyed the film but cheap packaging
The film itself is a good film, no problems with the DVD, but bought this as part of a gift and felt that the DVD box looked like a cheap copy.
