Most Helpful Customer Reviews

4 of 5 people found the following review helpful By Scott J on 27 Sept. 2009
Format: Paperback
This is a fascinating insight into one man's journey into a depressive illness, the worsening of the condition and, importantly, the recovery process. It does not dwell on the science behind the illness but concentrates on the feelings which are common to all sufferers. The lonliness and the loss of self esteem and belief. It is a moving story which everyone can associate with. It was interesting in that it covered the perceptions and distorted thinking caused by the illness. The author's story flows all the way through and takes the reader through each phase with ease. Definately a good read.
