About the Author

John Agard and Grace Nichols were brought up in Guyana, moving to Britain in 1977. Both are well-known writers and performers of poetry. Other poetry collections include Under the Moon and Over the Sea (9781406309591) and From Mouth to Mouth (9780744583830). They live in Sussex. Cathie Felstead is an illustrator whose titles include South and North, East and West (9781406309188). Does anyone in your family like doing accents when they read aloud? We've enjoyed it anyway, and my daughter (8) had it on her reading list.
