I decided to buy this book as I really didn't know what I wanted to study at university, but Speech Therapy was one of the subjects that appealed to me. However, I wasn't 100% sure what it entailed, and it was pretty hard to gain any information in depth online. I was slightly hesitant over the price, but I decided to give it a go anyway.
Having read it, I can honestly say I have a significantly better understanding of the career itself, and also the huge variety within it. Some of the information is slightly out of date, but most of it is still very relevant and I would really recommend to anyone considering this career. It's easy and very interesting to read, and you gain a general knowledge of everything from the university application to finding a job. I still don't know if I want to study Speech Therapy, but I definitely feel that I will make an informed choice if I do pick it!
