TOP 500 REVIEWERon 14 December 2013
Buying this was a no brainer, I love Travis Maddox and always have time for him. But I have to be honest and say I don't feel that Jamie McGuire has done one of my favourite couples any justice with this book. They deserved so more and she has lessened the wonderful love story she brought us in both Beautiful and Walking Disaster.

Told from both Travis and Abby's POV's, it is touching on Travis' part. But I'm trying to work out just how I feel about why Abby wanted to marry Travis. I have always loved Pidge and it's just not sitting right with me but I'm trying to go with the young and impulsive angle as my reasoning. New revelations added potential depth with consequences. Or so I thought until I reached the latter chapters and what could've made this book a winner for me was simply skirted around (the cynic in me can't help but think that somewhere down the line we are going to get another novella to fill the void).

The potential was there for a much more detailed story and if anything a full third book could've have come from this. As much as I love Travis and Abby's journey, if we were getting more it needed to be tied up completely and I just don't feel it got the justice it deserved or leaves the reader with a sense of total satisfaction.

I loved this! Beautiful disaster is still my favourite book the story of Abbey and Travis is week written and pulls you in from the beginning. Beautiful wedding is an amazing extra part of the story that just makes you love them both even more. Travis Maddox is and always will be the man that every girl wishes they could have! Well done jamie can't wait for more from the Maddox brothers too!!

The wonderful Jamie McGuire has done it again. I love the story of abbey and travis so much. I only got beautiful disaster because it was recommended by amazon but I'm so glad it did. It's been a fantastic story and this little novella just about finishes it off nicely. They are my all time favourite books. I think it's got some of the most romantic words in here that I've ever read and the letter from his mum had me tearful. Wonderful wonderful wonderful. You need to read beautiful disaster/walking disaster first so you can understand the full story of Abbey and Travis but if you like a good romance with a bit of a bad boy this is the book for you. Can't recommend it high enough.

I absolutely love this novella! I think this adds so much to the series! Ever since Beautiful Disaster, I had been craving more details about the wedding, and Jamie McGuire totally delivered! The wedding was awesome and this novella gave more insight into Abby and Travis! Without spoiling it, I just have to say, "THE letter" had me ugly crying! Thank you Jamie McGuire for such a complete wrap-up to Travis and Abby's story!

Jamie McGuire delivers every single time. I love her books. I can hardly put her books down and its torture when I'm not reading her books and having to do something else like actually working. Sucks.
A Beautiful Wedding has to be read after Beautiful Disaster and Walking Disaster. Will make the story run easier and be far more understandable.
I Adore Jamie McGuire Books!!!!

Loved these story of Travis and Abby. But I do think the both books could have been put together as one full story, instead of Abby and then Travis story as I found I lobe them both but got a bit fed up ready over the same bits some times. A beautiful wedding did Finnish it off well but far to short for what I paid for it. Will look forward to your next book.

A Beautiful Wedding finally gives fans the chance to find out the motivations behind Abby and Travis's elopement and rushed wedding in Las Vegas. I never could understand Abby's motivations for getting married so quickly, it seemed like something Travis would be on board with but I hadn't been convinced that it was something that Abby would have gone along with so I was really interested to see her reasoning.

This is a novella so it's a very quick and easy read, I can't say I was thrilled with Abby's thought processes and her reasons for rushing into marriage (I really don't think they would have had the effect that she was aiming for on a police investigation!) but I could kind of understand why she was so desperate to attempt it. I don't doubt that she is as crazy about Travis as he is about her though and the wedding ceremony was quite amusing to read about.

I'm still totally confused about why Abby chose that particular tattoo though. I think getting someone's name tattooed on yourself is probably one of the daftest things you can do (unless you're getting the name of your child or a close family member) but it would be far easier for me to understand Abby getting "Travis" as a tattoo than "Mrs Maddox". Who in their right mind gets their own name tattooed on them? Did she do it just in case she suffers from amnesia one day and can't remember who she is any more? I have no explanation!

Overall I'd say that A Beautiful Wedding is a nice addition to the series for anyone who is a huge fan of this couple but it isn't unmissable and I'd be tempted to suggest borrowing it from the library or reading a friend's copy before you decide whether to buy it for yourself.
