its GREAT,

It is so good to hear this album again after so many years. I just can't stop tapping my foot and whistling along. These boys had so much energy, and are amsters of the 1 note guitar solo. How cool was that. To my ears this is as fresh and exciting as the day I first heard it in the late 70's. "Look out for me now 'cuase I'm alive" If you like punk, you'll love this!

A Must For........,
This review is from: 999 (Audio CD)
anybody who used to follow this great punk band at the Nashville Rooms where they regularly performed. An exciting band with attitude and a sense of humour. I remember seeing Keith Moon in a jailbird suit being mobbed by the punks at a 999 gig - anybody else remember that? Worth buying it for Nasty Nasty alone!!!

Fast, fun, energetic, original and refreshing.,

One of the first albums I ever bought. I still listen to it. 999 are still going strong with the original line-up (except the bass guitarist). I've been watching them for so long now, they put me on the guest list and sometimes phone me with the gig dates! It's pure punk pop with attitude. Listen to those great lead guitar solos from Guy Days and Nick Cash hammering out the vocals like his life depends on it. Great fun. So pleased they never made the big time otherwise they would have ended up like Adam and the Ants or the Clash or similar sold out trash. Lorne Cheetham.
