If you're tempted by the idea of starting a business at home then this book gives you a list of possible ideas as well as explaining what skills you may need, the costs involved, possible red tape and the pros and cons. With just two pages per business the information provided is brief but it gives you useful contact information and gets you to explore ideas you may not have considered previously, along with a brief look at the essential facts regarding insurance and tax. The checklists are useful but you'll probably need to refer to other sources of information for a more complete picture!

hmmm.....was expecting more from the book, very basic ideas standard business, its gives you a rough idea from various types of businesses.
its ok for a beginner, if your looking for more inspiration then i would look else.

This book is a useful springboard to start from when you're looking to start up a home business. My only comment against it is that the ideas are not exactly original, in that I'd already thought about a lot of them before I even bought the book. I was expecting a little more. Don't let it put you off buying the book, it could be just me!

This book does have a number of ideas for home businesses and if you cant think of anything then it is an idea to have something to get your creative thinking going. Read more
