Amazon Verified Purchase
HP ink is - to put it politely - VERY expensive. And cartridges such as the 940 which don't have integrated printheads tend not to be popular with the refurbishing companies. So there really aren't many bargain cartridges to be had out there on 940 XL carts.
This set allows you to buy all 3 colour cartridges and receive 100 sheets of good quality glossy brochure paper (plus some software) for less than the usual cost of the ink. Indeed, at current Amazon prices, you receive all 4 items for round about the price of 2 940 XL cartridges. I like it. I'd like it even more if they'd do a bundle that included the black cartridge too!

The cartridges in this pack are identical to the retail XL sized cartridges, yet the bundle is usually 10-20% cheaper than three individual cartridges. This makes the bundled paper cheaper than free.
We do go through two or three reams of paper (1000-1500 pages) between cartridge changes, so they do live up to the manufacturer's capacity claims.
This is the third time we have bought these. Hopefully, the offer will be around next time we need a new set.

Have just received mine. Following up on M. Semple's review, the cartridges are indeed 940XL type. This is the cheapest way of getting a set of the XL colour cartridges I've found.

Value for money ink & paper
Even without the paper, this seems to be a good way to buy three XL colour cartridges. The business marketing designs on the CD are a matter of taste; they didn't suit me.
