What a brilliant album. Lovely vocals, great production and above all excellent content - I defy anyone not to find a track on this that won't stick in your head and have you whistling all day.
Nice to see and hear some talent.
Italian music has some great talents at the moment. As for this album - just buy it, turn the lights down, open a bottle of Amarone and enjoy . . . .Bliss

i have recently listened to the new album of eros ramazzotti and i have to say its excellant certainly if you like his previous work then this is worth buying. Eros ramazzotti is perhapes one of the biggest italian artists around and this album has already scored high chart positions in most countries. "Un emozione per sempre" is the first singal is brilliant.

This is an absolutely brilliant album - and it doesn't matter a bit whether you speak Italian or not (I don't)! From slick pop to moody ballards, Eros manages to deliver all the tracks with ease. This is a top rate production with world class song writing and it's all delivered brilliantly - a far cry from all the other sub-standard drivel that was produced in 2003 (i.e. Kylie, Blue, Dido, to name just a few). If you are pondering whether to spend hard earned cash on this album, my only advice is BUY IT NOW!!!

Almost every song is a good one in this CD. Especially catchy are Un Emozione per Sempre, Piccola Pietra and Solo Ieri. There is great variety here, his style is unique and truly captivating. You will be replaying the tunes nella mente all day once you've listened to them. There isn't a hint of harshness; instead, the melodies are beautiful and lingering. In short, a superb CD.

I have to say that I have followed Eros now for over 10 years, despite not speaking or understanding Italian. Every new album shows more maturity and he just gets better.
I thought his previous album (Stile Libero) was by far his finest work. And now, we have "9". What do I think? The album is excellent. It has more romantic ballads than most of his albums. Each song is typically polished, reassuringly romantic and with his distinct voice, beautifully sung.
If you are new to the European pop phenomenen otherwise known as Eros Ramazzotti, then 9 will give you an introduction to his style. However, a better introduction would be the 1997 "Eros" (greatest hits) album,
If you are looking for those Eros trademark polished ballads, and up-tempo exquisitely finished Italian pop tunes, then this album will not let you down.
Just snuggle down with the one you love, and have this album playing. Sigh... heaven.

For me, who is not Italian and has no Italian connection,
I discovered his music - and the many international stars he has recorded with - and find it fantastic music to have on, whether relaxing or on in the car whilst travelling.
Taken to him so much that we recently went to Verona to see his concert in the Roman Amphitheatre.

Fantastic.

This is one of my favourite albums. Eros Ramazzotti is at the forefront of Italian pop music and this proves it. There are some great tunes, nice ballads, rocky and pop-py - definitely recommended (especially good if you're learning Italian!)
