Just insert the adapter into an available USB port (windows will be able to find the drivers instantly), no need to reboot. The Adapter powers itself from the USB port.
Wireless USB Adapter gives you the opportunity to install a PC or Laptop in the most convenient location.
Its auto-sensing capability allows high packet transfer up to 54Mbps for maximum throughput, or dynamic range shifting to lower speeds due to distance or operating limitations in an environment with a lot of electromagnetic interference.

I used a Belkin USB wi-fi adaptor for 4 years and always assumed the wi-fi signal in my study was weak, because of all the failed connections and drop outs. After switching to this adaptor, I realise it was the Belkin adaptor! I have never had a failed connection with this dongle, it's very reliable and great value for money.

Amazon Verified Purchase
This is without a doubt the best Gizmo I have ever had. I am running Windows 7, and my wireless card gave up the Ghost! I trawled the net to get something to replace it and I was lucky enough to find this little piece of kit. I just plugged it into a USB socket, it installed itself and it is completely trouble free, and more importantly, I get a better signal strength with the device! It is also very good value for money compared to some of the other items on the market, and finally my thanks to the seller for extremely fast dispatch!

Worked ok but slowly for a week, then the casing fell apart, maybe I'd knocked it, can't remember doing so. Didn't work at the rear of my desktop, no signal. Read more

The Dongle That Does
You plug it in the USB slot, it finds your router pronto and gets you connected stat.
