Jason Vale, is otherwise known as the 'Juice Master' and is an author, motivational speaker and lifestyle coach. Jason is the best-selling author of nine books on health, addiction and juicing and his message is to empower people to change their health and life by realising the nutritional benefits of raw fruit and vegetable juices. His books have sold over 1 million copies around the world and have been translated into many languages.

Jason was a heavy smoker (40-60 cigarettes a day), heavy drinker, ate lots of junk food and a chronic sufferer of psoriasis, eczema, and hay fever. Jason was then influenced by early juicing pioneer Norman Walker and began juicing to improve his health. In his book Slim 4 Life, Jason emphasizes that he lost weight, gave up smoking and drinking, and stopped eating junk food by changing his mindset to his addictions. Jason claims that as a result of daily juicing he lost four stone and is now free of his skin conditions and hay fever. He says 'juicing changed my life' and his mission is to 'Juice The World'. He has worked with many celebrities including Katie Price (aka Jordan).

Jason works closely with electronics company Philips as he endorses their range of juice extractors (including the best selling Philips Alu juicer) around the world. Jason has been featured heavily in the press in the UK & Ireland, Nordic countries, Turkey, Dubai, Italy and USA.

Jason and his company Juice Master Ltd has branched out into running seminars, retreats and juice bars. Jason opened his first juice detox retreat in Turkey in 2005 and he organises health seminars across the United Kingdom and Ireland. Now in 2011 Jason has opened juice bars in the UK, Ireland, Dubai and Canada.

Juicing has changed my life beyond all recognition. I know it’s a cliché when people say this or that changed their life, but I can say with total confidence that without juicing my life would be radically different to what it is today.

Before I got into Juicing I used to smoke 40-60 cigarettes a day; I like my drink (as they say) I was more that partial to the odd bit of junk(ie) food, and as a result, I was also fat. On top of that I had severe Asthma to the point where I had to use the blue and brown inhalers and was having 10-16 puffs a day on them. I also developed eczema, mild acne, bad hay fever, and very, very, severe Psoriasis. In short, I wasn’t exactly in the best of health and my energy levels were often right through the floor.

I am now in the fortunate position of being free from smoking, drinking and junk food. My Asthma has vanished, my eczema and acne have gone my Psoriasis has cleared by over 90% and I am no longer overweight. In fact, on the health front I’m one happy camper! I am now also lucky to be able to help people who find themselves in a similar position to the one I was in.

I wish I had found Jason's books years ago.
I bought his 'Lose 7lbs in 7 days' book three weeks ago and despite serious illness, awaiting a major op that means I'm not allowed to do any exercise, I still managed to lose 9lbs in the first week and am continuing to lose more weight.This is the first weight management programme (it's not a diet!) I've ever done where I've never felt hungry.
I had one day where I didn't have time to make my juice in the morning before work, so took 2 apples, and orange, a pear and banana to eat throughout the day but felt hungry. Being made into a juice, you would not think would make any difference but I can honestly say drinking Jason's delicious juice recipes WILL NOT leave you feeling hungry, but you WILL lose weight!
I've been on diets all my life and the reason I've used being overweight as a shield stems from my childhood.
Typical well known diets such as Weightwatchers or Slimming World never tackle the root cause of why you are overweight in the first place and that's why people like my mum have been going to weekly sessions for 50 years. Mum could have bought an island with what's she has spent over the years on weekly subscriptions, books, the company branded food because if its made by them 'it must be good, right'. My lovely mum is 79yrs old and still overweight, proof it only works to take money off you.
The last time I lost so much weight in the first week of dieting in my twenties when I was fit and exercised as well as a calorie controlled diet. It lasted 2 weeks because I was always so hungry and caved in.
This time, with Jason's motivational way of writing, combined with having help to get over my childhood issues and I'm ready to take on having a major op so I can have my life back.

Right. I am a 50 year old man, not massively overweight, naturally stocky, do irregular exercise, and eat all the usual stuff, from McDonalds and pizza to veggies and fruit and cereal. I have never done a "diet" in my life, because none of them looked vaguely appealing and I knew I would not stick to them. The closest I got was the Dukan for a week. Just got bored and didn't get the results promised.....but a friend of mine lost a LOT of weight by Juice Feasting, which, for me, looked too veggie based and extreme. So, inspired by him, I did my research and decided to do this.
It is well written (some find Jason too informal, I like it), informative and just common sense, in that "why on earth hadn't I thought of it like that?" way!! Did the program, religiously, although I did NO specific exercise as suggested, and I didn't drink any hot drinks in the morning, just water from the tap.
After 3 days I had lost 7lbs!! Could NOT believe it! After 7 days I had lost 10 lbs. I felt fresher, more awake, rarely hungry, LOVED the juices except for one which was OK, and have now gone on to the 14 day plan Turbo charge Your Life, though not so religiously. Got the app too which is brilliant value.
I did have severe headaches on day 2, as predicted, but given the amount of Diet Coke I was downing beforehand I am not surprised. But I will not be going back to chucking all the same unhealthy stuff down my throat that I have for ever, as I have been inspired by this book and Jason Vale to take more care. And I haven't had a Diet Coke or a Mcdonalds for three weeks.
If you stick to it, you WILL be thrilled with how you look and feel, I am sure!
Some people have bemoaned the cost of doing it.....

I am just coming to the end of my juicing week an all i can say is wow!! The book itself does the job explains the diet etc but the actual diet itself is amazing!! i have never felt better i have more energy an i feel so positive to continue after the week of encorporating smoothies an juices into my diet!!

im not heavy over weight just had 2 stone that i really wanted to shift for summer so i started with this book i can safely say i have lost 6lbs an feel great about it, i never followed his exercise regime to the T ie i couldnt get up at 6 to go for morning exercise but managed to exercise at lunch time in between work an also every evening either jogging or biking.

i also purchased the juice wall plan which shows exactly what shakes to have, before even starting the plan i immediatley cut out half the shakes as i knew i didnt need 5 juices a day i simply had one for breakfast one for dinner an one for tea of course with any diet there are one or two that arent the best in flavour but you know how many vitamins and minerals are in there that it powers you through!!! i have come away from the diet with 3 firm favourite drinks that i shall be having regularly!!

of note though i never purchased the wheatgrass or spinuloa i think thats correct so you may even have better results with this!!

I bought the book 1 month ago after reading some reviews. The 7lbs in 7 Days diet has been great for me, although initially I found the regime time consuming and difficult to fit into my schedule. I work 9-5 Monday to Friday and don't have time to make juices 5 times a day. With a little organisation, I prepared my juices the night before and eventually set a routine. In all honesty, some of the recipes tasted delicious and others were a complete turn off! On day one, and day two, I felt tired and weak. I thought I might have to throw in the towel! On day three, my energy levels had dramatically peaked, but I still had cravings for chocolate cake with cream. On day four to seven, I was like a rabbit on heat, I couldn't drink enough fruit juices. With a lot of determination and will power, I lost 5lbs in 7 days on the juice diet, and felt better all around. This diet isn't easy by any stretch of the imagination.

Since finishing Jason's juice diet I've been eating 2 healthy meals per day, and for breakfast or lunch, I normally make a juice or smoothie. What's more, combined with this fantastic book I found called Superfruit Smoothies: 50 Healthy Smoothie Recipes for Weight Loss, Energy & Optimum Health I have even lost more weight, a total of 1 stone 21bs in just 4 weeks.

P.S. Get a good blender and dozens of flasks before you start the diet.
