Finding a Rutger Hauer film for area 2 is not easy these days, so when I saw this one I jumped at the chance to see what he had made. Well, Ihave Hitcher 1 in my collection so I am used to Rutgers ability to produce absolute fear in the audience. Seventy Five, is based on a telephone game. Random dialing of a 'victim' and keeping them on line for seventy five seconds. These calls are not 'double glazing' nuisance calls but shear horror and the evil product of a very cleaver mind. The cast is young, and there are no sexual inhibitions, every thing gets past the censer. So be prepared to be horrified, fascinated, and very grateful you don't get a phone call in the middle of the night. Oh and Rutger Hauer plays the good guy trying to make sense of the impossible.Don't walk away until after the credits, and I would recommend a strong cup of coffee.
