Brilliant piece of equipment - well made - essential for those who want to avoid excess baggage charges! Easy to use - only drawback is trying to keep suitcase from moving until the weight registers. Very fast delivery.

Following reviews on here I thought I'd try these scales - up till now have used the ones which have the hook on the end. Wanted something accurate as in 2008 time was spent at Florida's Disney check-in on the conrete floor moving items around several suitcases as some were too heavy - not something we wanted to repeat!
So going on holiday in 2010 hubby and I weighed luggage at home - not an easy job - he had to stand on a chair to lift high enough. Cases seemed just under the limit - off to the airport and cases appeared to be a couple of kilos under what we'd got at home - very happy as seemed to be reliable ready for the return journey when we would be bringing more items home.
Cut to Disney check-in for return journey. We'd already weighed cases in room and seemed to be just about okay. Put on the scales and they were both 3/4 kilos over what we'd weighed them at! Fortunately we didn't have to pay any extra and they were just classed as heavy items.
So good item, easy to understand, but as for accurate I'm not 100% convinced at the moment!

Works BUT...
Worked fine with hand luggage under 5Kg. However, with cases between 15Kg and 20Kg it wouldn't 'beep' even after holding it for some time. Read more
