A bit of an odd review this. The charger worked fine for devices like our phones - HTC and Motorola - and our camera, (Samsung) but would not work for my Sony eReader. Although the eReader recognised it as a USB connection, not an erg of current was transferred to the device and it ran out of power :-(. Still, we took 4 devices and it was able to charge 3 of them so not all bad - I confess however that this was bought specifically for eReader charging - any others were a bonus (and guess which *physical* charger we didn't actually take...)
If I have any other issue with it its that it is quite large compared to other 12v cigar lighter chargers I have come across, my old one was about half the size.

I bought two of these, one for myself and one for my girlfriend. One of them was built fine and she's had no problems in 9 months or so so well worth the price. The other arrived with the 2 plastic halves not secured very well (small tab broken) and then it stopped charging after a couple of months; fortunately it was a straightforward soldering and sellotape job as i wasnt worrying about voiding the warranty..... But still, it's worked ever since (though i've lost it now) and i'd still say it was worth the price.
Anyway, time to order another one!
Charged a Nokia 5800, Nokia N86, Garmin SatNav and HTC Desire HD (with bluetooth, GPS, and data on, and using navigation and in-call) just fine, so fit for purpose it seems.
