This is a great item. My HTC Desire fits well and I would say it is not as flimsy and fragile as I have expected (from reading previous reviews). I'm perfectly happy with it.

Please note this does not work with the Galaxy S2. It is only fits a phone with a maximum width of 58mm, mine is 66mm. This fact
is not mentioned anywhere in the product information on Amazon.
Other than this issue it seems quite sturdy considering the price. However the plastic moulding is quite badly finished off which each separate part
having a rough mark on the edge where from when it was extruded.

Purchased this to attach my iPhone to my tripod to film timelapse videos. The clasp fits well, is easy to use and holds the phone very securely. Good product for a bargin price.

Tripod screw won't fit
Great idea, but it won't tighten onto the tripod screw, so it's a waste of time and money --- just wobbles about no use to anyone.
