I bought my first pair when I wanted to connect my WebTV box to the internet. The wireless was just not fast enough (I have a budget router). It worked great so when my NAS arrived, I added one more and then another one for my laptop when I need really fast file transfers. Now I can comfortably and safely stream movies or move files around from anywhere. Before, when I wanted bandwidth on my LAN, I had to downgrade encryption on the router (which is not safe at all).
It's a very clever way to get a LAN in your house when you can't or won't lay some wires all over the place. I have been using them for one year now and they all work perfectly.

Have already got a number of Devolo AV500+ and AV200+ adapters, which work extremely well, but needed just a single additional adapter and for once didn't need the power pass-through. As this product is by far the cheapest I though I'd give it a go as it claimed to be compatible with my existing outlets.

Plugged it in and connected a PC and it worked with no further ado: excellent! Compatibility is such that it shows up as a node on the Devolo Cockpit software.

It's pleasant to look at and smaller than the Devolo equivalents.

I bought 3 because I wanted to create an overly complicated network at home.(it really isn't, it's great)

1 goes from my Virgin (modem only) router into wall. 1 goes from wall upstairs to an Access Point I bought as our Virgin Router is rubbish. The other is for our housemate who just has issues.

Overall connectivity is really good, set up is extremely easy.

All you literally need to do is plug it in to the wall and job done.

We have 30mb Virgin Optical connection at home and since changing the router to modem only I'm now achieving these speeds whilst connecting to the Wireless Access point.

TBH, very good bit of kit and have been really pleased with myself since installing it this weekend.

Initially sceptical given the price and the fact these are 500Mbps rated but this product literally was "plug-n-play", pairing perfectly with my existing Netgear homeplugs. Delivery was swift and items were well packed.

Excellent product. I purchased this to extend two other 500Mbps High Speed Home Plugs I had bought. These were to replace an older set of 85Mbps plugs I had linking the TV/media area to the SOHO as they kept timing out the ethernet sockets on my Netgear router, no such problems with these. Getting a good 220Mbps over these, enough for HD media. They include an ethernet cable in each box. Easy to set up and clear instructions.

It came a single in one box, also bought a dual pack which was two singles posted in the same box. Why can these not be sold in packs of 3?

Also the software on the accompanying CD is not an installer but a runnable program. Might confuse less tech savvy.
