Good ideas. 2 Dec 2010
Format:Paperback
A handy self-explanatory travel book which includes things to do on the plane with children, people watch the different types of passengers and word puzzles. It also lists things you can do in the airport as well as things you never have time for such as balancing your checkbook. Informative, fun and very interesting.

I bought this as a birthday gift for a friends impending holiday to America, but they couldn't wait, it was certainly fun for all the family.

Great for long trips 29 Feb 2012
By Chrissy - Published on Amazon.com
Format:Paperback|Amazon Verified Purchase
This is a fun little book and small enough to be carried with you on a trip. I'm one of those people who goes stir crazy if forced to sit doing nothing for any period of time. I carry crossword puzzles, word searches and magazines on planes. I have highlighted many of the activities in this book in anticipation of a very long trip, 17 hours. My friend and I will cast ourselves, along with other passengers in a soap opera, they will not know about it! I'm going to start a novel, write poetry (with no skills!), figure out what I'd buy if I won the lottery, create a new identity, do any of the games in the book and so on. If you are a creative type of person. I think you'll enjoy this book. Also, if you have children, there are many activities which would help them while away the time.
More enjoyable than what the title insinuates 10 Feb 2012

I checked this book out from my local library via my Kindle and actually read it while going home from Taiwan to USA. I couldn't stop laughing. Maybe the author was trying to be silly but I honestly think it was hilarious. There were, in hindsight, some REALLY great exercises the author recommends you do on a plane that I actually thought about doing but I was too busy laughing while reading this book.

It's not for all. I couldn't necessarily BUY the book or anything but it's definitely worth a read. Wait, check that: I'm going to probably end up buying it on paperback because it's cheap enough. I really just thought this was hilarious and at times rather useful.

I bought this for my fiance to use on an upcoming trip. Somethings in there are fun but most of them are very silly/stupid. I dont think he even brought it.
