Product Description

Product Description

7 People Saved My Life is a book about how to cope when you hit rock bottom.

I don’t recommend you wait until it happens to buy it of course but if you are going through a hard time, have done or know somebody who is then this book will help. I know it will because the book contains every single nugget of advice and support I could obtain when I was at the lowest point in my life.

7 People takes you on a journey starting from the day I left behind my police career to pursue a career in IT (don’t ask me why because I don’t know). It all started off well enough despite the fact I was already crippled by debt. I ended up in a job I hated with a terrible boss.

I started my own company in order to take control of my own destiny and ended up having to fight a corporate giant in court for the £46k they owed me in consultancy fees. After all that happened my wife decided that she didn’t love me anymore at which point I went to pieces.

This book is about how when life seems to be falling apart at the seams it is often actually falling into place. It is about how other people can come to your aid with their words of encouragement and wisdom and how you can bounce back from what seemed at the time to be the end of your world.

7 People isn’t about meditation, affirmations or positive thinking. It is about how to cope and turn your life around when you are in the middle of a life changing crisis. It is based upon my first hand experience of what you need to know and do if you want to climb back out of the pit you fell into.

1.0 out of 5 stars I really wouldn't waste your money! 16 Jan 2014

Found this man very self centred and entirely written from his ego! I deleted it half way through and felt annoyed he would have got the proceeds. I'm all for people seeking their fortune but I do hope at the end he had a big revelation and started to help others aswell!

5.0 out of 5 stars Finally, an inspirational book we can relate to! 18 Sep 2012

I was initially attracted to this book because Browning is of my generation and grew up not too far from me, but once I started reading I realised that they were not the only reasons I felt I could identify with the author.

The book is written in a brisk, conversational tone; you could be sitting with him in a Starbucks chatting about his experiences. Browning's account of his trials in life is moving and frank. Where other authors in the genre can (and do) impress with their tales of going from bedsit to castle in 3 years, or their dinner dates with millionaire philanthropists, Paul's story is one that resonates with me. Despite his many successes in life, he is still a regular guy and not immune to hardship and heartbreak.

How he came back from the brink of ruin is a tale of strength, reflection, reinvention, and meeting with several no less inspirational characters. The book not only uplifted me, it inspired me to search for my own mentors - people who could maybe save my life before it needs saving!

Recommended without reservation!

5.0 out of 5 stars "Some Books Help You Become a Better Person. This is One of Them" 10 Jun 2013

Paul's work is one of those books I wasn't able to move away from until I was done reading it. It's hard to describe in words the effect this book has had on me, so it's best that you take the time to read it yourself to find out.

It might just change your life.

7 People Saved my Life is about finding happiness for reasons found only within one self; it's about finding purpose and strength in hitting rock bottom and losing all hope. It's about love, pain, happiness, despair, faith, and so much more.

Paul shares his experiences and feelings with you in such a deep way, as if you've suddenly become the best friend of one of the most insightful people you could ever meet.

There are some books that simply drive you to be a better person. This is definitely one of them.
