Product Description

The 66fit Elite Foam Roller is a 15cm x 90cm (6" x 36") PE material foam roller that is used in physiotherapy, pilates, yoga, fitness and rehabilitation

It has been made using a higher foam density and is a 'one piece construction' means that it will not distort or flatten under extensive usage (most other foam rollers presently on the market are made from a 2 piece construction consisting of an inner and outer core which can cause weakness and distortion over a period of time)

These Elite Foam Rollers have been extensively tested over the last 12 months both in the USA & UK and have a 100% pass rate.

Ideal for stretching, the 66fit Elite Foam Roller (stability roller) can help improve stability and flexibility and is great for promoting stabilisation, core strength and balance training.

Iliotibial band syndrome (ITBS or ITBFS, for iliotibial band friction syndrome
Foam rollers are used by many people to help loosen the iliotibial band and can help in the prevention and treatment of pain to this area.

Got one of the new elite blue foam roller a week ago, friends told me the benefits of using a foam roller for stretching and massage.
Did not think much of it to begin with, but the more I use it the better I feel.
I use it now when I come home from work, being on my feet all day it"s great to come home, put on the radio and have a roll, great for my across back also along the spine, backs & front of my legs.
A bit big for the curve of my neck but they also do a shorter 4" diameter roller which is a must get.Now instead of comming home sitting down in front the tv,I just roll away the the aches and pains,I find it strangely relaxing.
Easy to order, firmness is just right, great for price, can recommend

By fotofit
Bought on recommendation as had tight IT band. Has also been great to massage tight calves. Feels quite sore to begin with but stick with it as it really does help.

I train most days, often during my lunch hour or before work. Time pressures restrict my workouts, with cool down and recovery being too short. The result is that my muscles are often tight with a fair amount of delayed onset muscle soreness. My preference is for massage but for less than the cost of a 45 min sports massage, I thought I'd give a foam roller a try.

I bought this one based upon price and something in the item description that implied that the composition would be more robust than some others. I am a little over 15 stone and had fears that prolonged use would cause a foam roller to deteriorate.

I have found the balance between stiffness and compliance absolutely perfect for massaging my legs and back. I have discovered the root of a persistent shoulder problem that manifests itself in the collar bone, is caused by a huge knot in the muscles around my shoulder blade. My glutes are often painful and some massage therapists are reluctant to work on this important area. The foam roller allows me to use my own bodyweight to work on the trigger points in this area to great effect.

In all, this is an essential piece of gym equipment. The quality seems to be above par based upon its price. It comes highly recommended

Well worth it - saves pennies in the long run (pardon the pun)
I invested in one of these after being advised to by a fellow triathlete as they do the same job as your sports massage therapist (on the whole) therefore saving you money. Read more
