Product Description

The 66fit Elite Foam Roller is a 15cm x 45cm (6" x 18") PE material foam roller that is used in physiotherapy, pilates, yoga, fitness and rehabilitation

It has been made using a higher foam density and is a 'one piece construction' means that it will not distort or flatten under extensive usage (most other foam rollers presently on the market are made from a 2 piece construction consisting of an inner and outer core which can cause weakness and distortion over a period of time)

These Elite Foam Rollers have been extensively tested over the last 12 months both in the USA & UK and have a 100% pass rate.

Ideal for stretching, the 66fit Elite Foam Roller (stability roller) can help improve stability and flexibility and is great for promoting stabilisation, core strength and balance training.

Iliotibial band syndrome (ITBS or ITBFS, for iliotibial band friction syndrome)
Foam rollers are used by many people to help loosen the iliotibial band and can help in the prevention and treatment of pain to this area.

5.0 out of 5 stars It's Foam, 10 Dec 2010
This review is from: 66Fit Elite Foam Roller- Blue, 15 cm X 45 cm (Sports)
This is kind of like reviewing a pencil- you sharpen it and it writes- use the other end if you make a mistake.

Well, how much can you say about a foam roll. You lay it down and then you lay down on it. Can be kicked under the couch for those that don't want to lift it. If you drop it, it won't break. Well, don't take my word for it. Read more reviews about a foam roll to be sure.

Seriously though, as foam rolls go, this one is a good choice. It's high density foam, so it won't break apart like the kind of foam that is used to package boxed items. A lot of people are using it for their back, but it can be used for a lot of other exercises as well.

So if you're interested in a foam roll to stretch out on, I'd have to say this is a good choice. Also consider Treat Your Own Spinal Stenosis if you're looking for some effective back exercises.

5.0 out of 5 stars Rolling for Runners!, 8 Jan 2012

This review is from: 66Fit Elite Foam Roller- Blue, 15 cm X 45 cm (Sports)
People who run need one of these rollers and I can't recommend them highly enough. Used properly they ease muscle tension, untangle knots and give long stretches where you need them most.
This particular roller fits the bill and is one of the best priced ones around. It's foam, it's hard and it's light and can be stored easily under the bed. It's made a real difference to my running and for around 12 quid, that has to be a bargain.

5.0 out of 5 stars Affordable, small sized, firm foam roller, 18 Dec 2011
This review is from: 66Fit Elite Foam Roller- Blue, 15 cm X 45 cm (Sports)
Foam roller is quite firm, it takes some time to get used to, but should last for a long time. As a half sized foam roller length, it is quite small, compact and affordable. I recommend getting a firm foam roller as the softer ones need to be regularly replaced.
