I am a first year physiotherapy student and therefore i bought this skeleton to help me with my anatomy. Its a pretty good skeleton giving you an idea of where most bony landmarks are, however the cheaper price does show in its anatomical detail. Some bony landmarks are just not present on the skeleton which is disappointing and can make putting on the muscles more challenging than on a better quality product. I use it in addition to the skeletons in the department meaning i get the flexibility of learning the location of the muscles whatever time i want to instead of being limited to when i can get into the anatomy lab.

Unfortunately the costovertebral joint on the first rib has broken on my skeleton as has the acromioclavicular joints which possibly reflects its price.

I bought this item as I am a Physiotherapy student and was struggling with learning anatomy just from textbooks. This skeleton allows me to picture things like muscle origin & insertions, nerve pathways and organs. If you are a visual learner then it is definitely a good idea to get, I use a theraband to trace pathways. Item arrived very quickly after ordering and was packaged very well so there was no damage during transit. There weren't any instructions to assemble but it was easy to work out it only came in about 4 pieces. Size is good with it being lifesize, I recommend this as is scaled to a real person, ensuring accuracy. All in all, I would definately recommend this specific skeleton as it's made with quality and was better value for money than other companies.

I'm an Osteopath and a 3D model is very useful when explaining things to patients. This really is amazing value. Much more bony detail than I was expecting for the price.
