Great album, with a good mix of up-beat tracks such as watch you change and luv, hold me down, as well as more relaxed sounding ones such as you keep showing up and unzip your Harrington. A must purchase for fans of the vaccines, peace and Jaws!

Bought this upon Drowners being announced as the support act for Peace's UK tour and off the strength of the song 'Luv, Hold Me Down'.
'Drowners' is a brilliant album, definitely one for fans of The Strokes early material. The album combines jazzy guitar lines and catchy melodies that will be stuck in your head for days. Standout tracks are the aforementioned 'Luv, Hold Me Down', 'Pure Pleasure' and 'Shell Across the Tongue'. That said the whole album is brilliant with no weak tracks at all and is highly recommended.

Great debut album, the best I've heard for a long long time. It's full of songs you'll be singing the lines from all day long. Pure pleasures is probably my favourite but I love so many of the songs on here. Fantastic.

I'm a right sucker for a good debut album and I've had my eye on Drowners for a while. This is by far the best album I have heard for AGES and would already rank it as one of my favourites. Every song is charming and short, making it the perfect length for a bus journey too

Another exciting new band. There seems quite a few emerging at the moment. Not complaining! Sound like a slightly more melodic Artic Monkeys which ain't a bad thing. Lyrics great also.
