1.0 out of 5 stars Hard to believe Michael Scott put his name to this , 21 Mar 2009

Colin is right. Very disappointing and not a patch on "50 years of Moto Grand Prix" which was published by Motocourse some years back (with a section written by Scott). While I consider Scott to be the best English language writer on grand prix motor cycle racing (I buy his Motocourse every year), he really has slipped with this one. Poorly edited text, unimaginative file photos (and flat and fuzzy on poor paper to boot).
Hard to believe he let this one out.

1.0 out of 5 stars dont bother, 22 Feb 2009
By Colin Mcglinchey "colin" (Northern Ireland) - See all my reviews
(REAL NAME)
What it said on the ouitside of the tin was great, but there is very little in this book, just alot of mediocre, filler-photos to pad it out and some very sketchy text that could've been lifted from one of the mags. I enjoy actually reading about the sport and the characters and for that price I expected alot of detail, but you could digest this book in a couple of hours. Very disappointing.
