Our NEW DIY Scaffold Tower has an unparalleled specification when compared to other DIY towers on the market, with its fully welded 40mm frames and colour-coded braces making it very easy to build. It is Very versatile - can be used for many jobs around the home and garden from decorating the staircase and cleaning windows to pruning trees etc. As it is constructed from aluminium it is lightweight and therefore easy to use and transport, yet safe & sturdy for your peace of mind. Also it will not rust like the galvanised steel alternatives on the market. Exclusive Colour coded braces supplied making the tower quick and easy to build and dismantle. Very strong- with maximum load capacity of 150KG (23.5 stone). Tower tubing has a 40mm diameter with a "ribbed" non-slip surface for added strength and safety. Welded frame structure, as seen on our industrial scaffold towers, for ultimate strength (Other DIY towers have horizontal bars that pass through the uprights and are then "crimped" on the other side. These are not as strong). Tower is climbed internally through a trapdoor which is then lowered to become part of the platform. 2 Stabiliser bars for greater stability. Platform height can be set in increments of 30cm allowing the tower to be used over a range of different heights. Tower can therefore be used part erected giving excellent flexibility. 2 wheels fitted for easy movement of the tower. The tower has end height adjustment so can be configured to be used on steps and stairs as seen below. Length- 1.71m. Width- 1.22m includes stabiliser bars (0.60m without). Maximum Platform Height-2.73m. Maximum Working Height- 4.75m (i.e. level to which someone of average height can safely reach). Platform Size- 1.44m x 0.50m.
