Product ok. but no matter how i put it on the lens at one end or other of the focus range i could see black corners.
if you want a hood for the Canon 18-55 use the round one.

The plastic quality isn't brill but it does the job perfectly well. It fits my HS10 perfectly. You can lock it into position with the locking ring thingy. What more can you ask for?
