I was a bit worried when I bought this, as it was a quid.
Yes, it looks cheap and plasticky, but so does the lens. I don't tend to buy lens caps for their aesthetic appeal.
It is not stiff or tight to take off or put on, it holds very well and works as a cap for the lens itself, or for the hood if that's the set up you have going.

Bought this for the second hand extra lens that I bought at the local Cash Converters and came without a cap. Looks alright, although texture-wise it's a bit rough. Holds steady, hasn't fallen off. The spring is very strong, much stronger than Canon, so requires extra effort to remove and put on - but I guess it means it won't fall off (but it makes taking it off a job for both hands). Fast delivery, pleased overall.
