More About the Author

Annabel Sutton is a Professional Certified Coach and Author. She loves working with unconventional people who want to live their lives differently. Her clients say she's "inspiring", "energising", "fun to work with" and even "ferrety"! She's been coaching since 1999 and was one of the first life coaches in the UK to be awarded a coaching credential.

She lived overseas for 15 years: five years in Indonesia (Borneo and Java) and ten in Los Angeles. She's travelled widely and survived earthquakes, riots, leech attacks in the jungle, spending a week with head-hunters and becoming inadvertently betrothed to a Dani warrior.

Annabel is a life-long procrastinator and a fairly recent Quaker. She's passionate about the countryside, kindness, good food and organic gardening. Her allotment is symbolic of her life - quirky and a bit non-conformist but surprisingly productive!

Writing is in her blood. Her grandmother, Denise Robins, wrote almost 200 romantic novels, earning her the title The Queen of Romance in the 1960s. Her aunt, Claire Lorrimer, is also a prolific writer and is the author of many best-selling historical sagas.

I love this book, so much so that I often carry it in my handbag as a go to boost for when I need inspiration, motivation or reassurance. Interspersed with Annabel's down to earth advice are interesting stories which neatly illustrate the point she wants to get across. The advice is simple, practical and really reinforces the point of action over inaction. Great for the procastinator that resides in us all at times. A perfect gift for yourself.

This is such an accessible, hands-on book. Broken into 52 fabulous tips for making life more vibrant, and those tips themselves full of different ideas and inspiration. My current favourites are `Focus on your strengths... choose one of your top five strengths as your theme for the week and if you encounter a challenge, draw on that strength to help you handle it.' And `Don't ask `why?''(why is my life like this? why me?) Instead ask `what?' (what can I do about this? what can I learn? what's the first step?) The book is brimming with deceptively simple coaching ideas, each one with far-reaching effects. I keep it nearby for when I'm stuck or down: it's a brilliant tonic and pick-me-up, or rather pick-myself-up... Highly recommended.

Format: Paperback
Another great book from Annabel and packed full of deceptively simple but highly effective advice. I love the 52 week format - an easy to read and digest tip for every week of the year. Treat yourself to this at Christmas and transform your year ahead. There's nothing fancy - it's all stuff you can start doing right now - and put across in Annabel's common sense style and backed up with stories and anecdotes to make the points.
If you know any procrastinators, anyone wanting to make a change in their life or feeling lost as to their future direction - here's the perfect gift for their Christmas stocking.

A simply lovely book. Uplifting and wise with a strong, clear and gentle voice - it inspires and encourages but never 'tells'. I have bought several copies - mainly because when I have lent my copy to other people, they want one too!

I wouldn't describe this as a self help book, but more as a bible for everyone to read. Put this in the hotel bedside table and watch the world become a better place! Annabel is more than your average life coach, she really gets to grips with her clients needs and doesn't just preach from her study books! Highly recommended read, and it contacts a tip for each week of the next year of your life, what will you be like in a years time? Buy it and transform your life!

Very concise, succinct tips to make small or large changes in your life. Some tips offer short exercises to do, others are thought-provoking. All are proving useful, either as new insights/ideas, or reminders.
This book can be dipped into, however, I found it hard to put down as I wanted to read the next tip, and the next, so my dipping-in will act as reminders, having read the whole book.

This is a lovely book full of Annabell's warmth and wisdom as well as sound practical advice and tools for making life more enjoyable.
I particularly like the format of one tip a week, though this is the sort of book you can dip into at any time and you'll find you open it at just the right page for what you need at that moment.
