This all action video features the very best of ex-Great Western & British Railway Castle Class Locomotive, No.5043 'Earl of Mount Edgcumbe' at its very best. Enjoy the sights and sounds a double chimney Castle in full cry as we see the locomotive during the first half of the engines second Mainline career. Most of the shots are already featured on the "Mainline Diary" DVDs, but also includes some previously unseen footage, along with some extend sequences. Filmed between 2008 - 2012.

This locomotive is a true 'Legend.' The achievements of this engine, crew and support team has achieved fantastic heights. A number of "firsts" have been achieved; not just by engine anteam. All the people who are involved in the carriages, service on the train are to be congratulated. Having watched the DVD twice I then turned to the history of 5043 from the day it was scrapped.
Looking at photographs of it then and now certainly show what determination can achieve. "Yes," I am biased this engine and the 'Blue King' top my list of top engines.
