a disappointing release,'the untold story' it says on the magazine cover, well its still untold.... On the DVD the three remaining members gloss over most of the interesting/controversial parts and the hoped for 'live ' footage kept to a minimum, you'll watch once then file away,a poor show.

The magazine is a decent read without touching too much on the gory stuff, you'd be forgiven for thinking Bad Co only released 6 studio albums and that after '82 only Rodgers released anything of note.

Classic rock had a great opportunity here, they could have asked ,

why the 'alburquerque disc was pulled and that now they're all pals will it be released, not even touched on.

Or ...Bad co released 6 studio and 1 live album after the 'Rough Diamonds' disc from '82,'every album reviewed'...i dont think so... its like they never happened.

In the Dvd Rodgers & Kirke allude to the name being mis used, hinting directly that Mick Raplhs shouldnt have tried to use it,yet no questioning why it was ok for Rodgers and Kirke to tour as Bad Co(why not FREE?),the irony being that, that, band included Dave Caldwell and Jaz Lochrie, who were in the Ralphs version, another opportunity missed.

I enjoyed the read, some of the classic photo's are pretty cool but its lightweight and not authorative in the least and your left(certainly I am) with the feeling that Paul Rodgers has managed to kill the band off once and for all , now, that the new contract means they all have to participate,we only managed to get about 30 or so gigs worldwide ,will we see them again,Kirke and Ralphs are up for it,i fear they may be disappointed.

Approach with caution ,you'll be left with more questions than answers

Well I have now watched the whole DVD and read half the mag. For a relatively specialised product I wouldn't say £12.99 (as it is now) is so bad, when you consider normal CDs cost £13 20 years ago!! Anyway, I enjoyed it. I was looking forward to the bit when it all fell apart to see what each would say they went on to do. Paul did solo and The Firm, then Queen etc. It IS very odd that the others just said they went on to do 'their own thing'. Why on EARTH were they not 'allowed' to ? If this is the case, shame on the 'producers' or whoever made the decision. Paul did say later that Mick Ralphs had a version of Bad Company a few years ago, and Paul was keen to protect the name and let ALL agree to only use the name with all 3 involved. Fair enough, but to ignore the MASSIVE success they had without Paul for quite a few years is VERY odd, just because Paul had no part of it - by HIS choice. Actually the second singer after Paul, Robert Hart, is very good, and 'Company of Strangers' a good album, just as Uriah Heep still produce great albums with a different singer. It's the old argument about when a band should or needn't change their name. But not to mention, however cursory, that period, is just bonkers.

Love the band. Much underrated. Looked forward to the magazine and dvd. About time we had a decent documentary on Bad Company. A little disappointed that bits were repeated in the different sections of the magazine, but overall a good read.

What an amazing package from the legendary band, a brilliant rock magazine with some great interviews with the remaining 3 members as they reminisce about their past. Some never seen before classic photos and what can i say about the dvd documentary
with some rare black and white footage and the recent "on the couch" interviews As i would say "Can't Get Enough". Great stuff
