5.0 out of 5 stars 501 Spanish verbs 13 Oct 2010
Format:Paperback
I love this book and the cdrom and cd
I wish I'd bought it when I first started my study of Spanish with the Open University.
Its very detailed, I imagine that it will see me through the advanced level Spanish when I hopefully get there.

5.0 out of 5 stars The perfect present 23 Jan 2011
Format:Paperback
501 Spanish verbs was bought for my father as he has moved to Marbella in march and started spanish lessons there. He tells me the book is absolutely brilliant. It has a verb per page with all its versions and uses,90 pages of exercises and answers,a c/d rom for the p.c. or lap top and even an audio c.d. to play and listen to as well. So in one form or another he uses EVERY day. Also ordering took 7 (SEVEN) days from start to delivery (including christmas eve and christmas day) all at a fantastic price. Thanks AMAZON. KEEP UP THE GOOD WORK!

5.0 out of 5 stars A fantastic resource 4 Feb 2011
By Matt
Format:Paperback
This book is an absolutely fantastic resource for the Spanish learner. It's a hefty book but is written in a very clear and therefore accessible way. It provides succinct explanations both of the different tenses and grammar. The layout of the 501 verbs gives you a quick guide to all the verb forms in the different tenses, which I've found invaluable. There are also exercises to practice and the CDs. This book is definitely one to go back again and again.

2.0 out of 5 stars Great Book But Not on Kindle 21 July 2012
Format:Kindle Edition
I got this book about a year ago on the Kindle (from the US Store). This book is a great resource for anyone trying to learn Spanish. It is not just a book that gives verb conjugations but also details many aspects of grammar. However (and I'm not sure if this has improved with the more recent versions of Kindle) reading some of the tabulated text in Spanish is a pain- because the Spanish text is fainter than the English text and it gives me a headache everytime I squint to read the tables (increasing font size does not help!). Maybe this has changed now- but I just wish I had bought the hardcopy instead.

This new version is FANTASTIC - and the addition of CD Rom and Audio CD is really helping me get to grips with the different tenses. If you are learning Spanish this is the book to buy because you'll be using it all the time.

5.0 out of 5 stars Great book 5 Nov 2011
Format:Paperback
We have an earlier version of this book which we use all the time in Spain. We wanted a copy for our UK home. This version is a great improvement and it's cheap too. It comes with Cd's which I've copied into Itunes & we have them on our Iphones, which is very useful.

When we return Spain I intend to order another one of these books because we feel we need two copies when we are doing Spanish homework.

5.0 out of 5 stars 501 Spanish verbs 23 Feb 2012
Format:Paperback|Amazon Verified Purchase
Anyone who is serious about learning Spanish, this is the book for you. If you can't be bothered to learn your verbs then don't waste your time or money buying this because that is it's purpose. I am on my second copy (to update a much older edition) and you will not find a better aid to learning Spanish. I now live in Spain and have attended Spanish classes here. Everyone in our class had a copy of this. It is nothing more than a tool for you to use, and it lists verbs in their tenses, ie: I go - voy, you go - vas, he/she/it goes - va etc. It really is the most clearly laid out book I have seen and very easy to follow and covers all the tenses including compound tenses. It is also extremely comprehensive and gives examples of Spanish sayings and expressions and gramatical explanations. Very good value. If you didn't want to spend as much, you could buy an earlier edition which I have seen on sale for less and which you will find an equally useful tool but without the updated improvements. No hesitation in awarding 5 stars.
