Another fab book from the Lark 500 series which I've added to my library. Lovely, clear, colour images of many diverse designs of this ceramic form. Great inspiration on shape, form and finishes. The 500 series' never disappoints for diversity in its chosen images and always ideal to pick up and browse through at your leisure.

This is a must have for pottery artists. 14 Dec. 2002
By Jill Dahl - Published on Amazon.com
Format: Paperback Verified Purchase
I just let my artist friends see this book. They were all in awe and each found several favorite teapots. I am ordering an extra for the studio as I probably wouldn't see MY book again should I leave it there for inspection.
If you have a potter friend who likes to make teapots, this is the book for that friend. 500 Teapots is a straightforward, beautifully photographed and compiled book. All one simply has to do is look at the pictures to become inspired in trying new shapes, textures and glazes in teapot throwing and design. You will not be disappointed.

So Pleased 20 Sept. 2002
By Teri Adams - Published on Amazon.com

I pre-ordered this book around 3 months ago. It was well worth the wait. I'm so pleased to have this book as an addition to my collection.
If you love Tea Pots .... you will love looking through the many extraordinary designs. This is a book you can look at over and over. And, just when you think you've seen them all ... you will see something new and exciting that you didn't notice before.

A Lot of Great Teapots 16 May 2003
By H. F. Corbin - Published on Amazon.com
Format: Paperback Verified Purchase
If you like teapots, you'll love this book. There are some really beautiful pots here beautifully photographed. I was pleased to see that I own pieces by a couple of the potters. My only gripe is that I know potters whose work I would have included. Silvie Granatelli of Virginia, who makes imcomparable teapots, and Chris Simoncelli of Atlanta come to mind, just to name two. I would have preferred that no potter had more than one teapot shown-- there are several who have as many as three-- in order that other equally good potters could have been represented.

Especially for potters and others who love teapots, this is a MUST HAVE book. It is perfectly and simply presented with large color plates of every imaginable,(and some unbelievable) contemporary teapots from around the world. Make yourself a pot of tea and you could easily spend an afternoon with this book.

I'm not a little teapot... 20 Aug. 2005
By MAE C-D - Published on Amazon.com
Format: Paperback Verified Purchase
But if I were a little teapot, I'd be one of the beautiful ones in this book. There are teapots both plain, and beyond description to fascinate, amuse and amaze you. If you know a little about firing ceramics, and glaze technology, the information provided will deepen your appreciation of each teapot. You may find that some of these artists are in your area, and have ceramics for sale. Or if you just like teapots, there enough teapots here in beautiful color photos to sate your appetite.
