About the Author
Editor Catherine Atkinson has always had a passionate interest in food and cookery and as a student this culminated in a BSc (Hons) in Home Economics at Surrey University. Her catering experience led to work in publishing, creating recipes and styling food for photography, and she became Deputy Cookery Editor on Woman's Weekly and later Me magazine. used again and again every recipie is simple and tasty and quick to make great book with loads of ideas from biscuits to muffins to brownies the only book you need

This book is partly a copy of the 2003/2008 book with the title cookies, biscuits, bars and brownies. I now have them both and I love them both. About 40% of the recipes are printed in both the books nevertheless, that is why I deducted one point. This is nowhere mentioned.
But when I need to make a quick bake, I turn to one of these books. The recipe for lemon curd slices is to die for. As well as the butterscotch blondies (my husbands favorite), cheesecake brownies slices, fudge, cinnamon cookies, etc. There is something for everybody and no recipe failed me! For this price, everybody should have a copy and you won't be disappointed.

I love this book, and i have made 2 things...i only have it 2 weeks, the savory part is fantastic, and all those lovely biscuits :-P. A selection of anything you might like, and very easy to make!
