The 2 most important songs are missing,

I was really keen to buy this album, but after discovering that the Beach Boys song "Wouldn't it be nice" AND the song "Somewhere over the rainbow" are missing, I changed my mind. For everybody who is looking for this version of "Somewhere over the rainbow": It is by Israel Kamakawiwo'ole, a quite popular Hawaiian singer and for example on his album "Facing Future".

Although 'Wouldn't It Be Nice' - Beach Boys and 'Somewhere Over The Rainbow' are missing, it is not a bad album. It's worth the money for 'Every Breath You Take' by UB40, a gorgeous and smooth track that fans of 'Swing Low' will evevitably enjoy.Ziggy Marley's 'Drive' is another gem, which any Bob Marley fan would love. It's chilled out and perfect with the film in mind. It's a good album, but they could have done better. However if you liked the film, you'll like the CD.

Wouldn't It Be Nice??,
By
This review is from: 50 First Dates (Audio CD)
Wouldn't it be nice if the soundtrack included two of the most important, and indeed prominent, songs featured in this beautiful film. "Wouldn't it be Nice" by the Beach Boys is charming, sweet and played repeatedly throughout the film, yet it isnt on the soundtrack. Also, the final song (a delightful mix of "What a Wonderful World" and "Somewhere Over The Rainbow" in a simple acoustic style) isnt to be seen on the soundtrack. Don't get me wrong, the soundtrack is brilliant without them, but i believe that it would be simply magical with them. So... 3 stars :-) Enjoy.
