About the Author
Ajay Rochester is a role model for women everywhere struggling with obesity, wellbeing and self-esteem issues. She is a vocal advocate of positive body images for women and cares passionately about the women whose lives are interwoven with her own through the highs and lows of shared experience. She shed half her bodyweight and through sharing her journey online established a thriving member-driven online community called Healthy Body Club. She was host of The Biggest Loser from 2006 to 2009 and writes regular columns for popular magazines. Rochester's first book 'Confessions of Reformed Dieter' is now in its third print run. She then wrote a children's book: "Blubberguts". In 2005, Rochester's book 'Lazy Girl's Guide to Losing Weight and Getting Fit' was published by Random House and made the Sydney Morning Herald top five bestseller list. Ajay is the ambassador for the Eating Disorders Foundation. She has worked with The Make A Wish Foundation and is an advocate for breast cancer research lending her time to multiple breast cancer charities including the Field of Women and BCNA. Rochester is also the face and ambassador for Triathlonpink.com and walked the Great Wall of China to raise funds to build the Olivia Newton John Wellness Centre.
