This product has rather poor reception. Over long distance, it is extremely poor. Please take my advice and don't buy this product unless you are only having a short distance system. At short range, it is adequate but overall this is rather poor.
I purchased this item because my 2.4 GHz transmitter was affected by interferences of various kind. With the Rimax the audio and video signals are much better but they seem to suffer interference from humans when one crosses the imaginary line between the dishes. In my setup there is one wall between transmitter and receiver; I tried with two walls and it did not work.
